Opening Reception: June 13 | 5:00 – 8:00 PM
Experience a thoughtfully curated exhibition where contrast becomes connection—inviting you to explore how two distinct artistic voices arrive at a shared destination.
Join us at Presson Gallery to kick off the summer with an engaging, immersive gallery experience!

A Long Haul Collective brings together the work of Douglas Stewart and Bill Colt—two artists whose approaches differ in style but align in purpose.
One body of work is rooted in layered surfaces, atmosphere, and the presence of time, capturing subjects with depth and quiet intensity. The other embraces bold color, movement, and expressive energy, creating pieces that feel immediate and alive.
Rather than focusing on a single subject, this exhibition highlights the journey of artistic practice itself—how different paths, perspectives, and techniques can ultimately meet in a cohesive visual experience.
Visitors are invited to move through the gallery in two distinct directions, stepping into each artist’s world before arriving at a shared space where both styles come together.
